冬のサロマ湖は湖面が凍結し、その上に積もる雪が一面の雪原となり、陸地とは異なる広大な氷上の世界が出現します。氷の間からは野生のアザラシが顔を出すことも。冬のサロマ湖は大自然の厳しさと美しさを感じられます。
