タウシュベツ川橋梁
タウシュベツ川橋梁は、ぬかびら源泉郷の北部に位置し、北海道遺産にも登録された旧国鉄士幌線コンクリートアーチ橋梁群の中でも、代表的なコンクリートアーチ橋です。夏季はダムの水位が上昇することにより姿を消してしまいますが、冬から春にかけては水位の低下により白銀世界に包まれた幻想的な11連のアーチ橋が表す姿は唯一無二の情景です。最近は崩落が進んでおり、あと数年で見納めになると言われていることから「幻の橋」になる前に訪れてみませんか。
The Taushubetsu River Bridge, located in the northern part of Nukabira Gensenkyo, is a prominent concrete arch bridge. It is one of the former Japan National Railways Shihoro Line structures and has been designated as a Hokkaido Heritage site. In summer, the rising water level of the dam causes the bridge to vanish beneath the surface. However, from winter through spring, as the water recedes, a stunning series of eleven snow-covered arches emerges—an otherworldly sight found nowhere else. In recent years, the bridge has been gradually collapsing, and it is said that it may disappear completely within a few years. Why not visit and witness its haunting beauty before it becomes a true “phantom bridge”?

阿寒摩周国立公園の原生林に囲まれた、ひがし北海道屈指の美しさを誇る湖、阿寒湖。そのほとりには複数の温泉宿が立ち並び、阿寒湖温泉街として多くの観光客を受け入れている。この温泉街の一角にあるのが日本の先住民族であるアイヌ民族によって作られた工芸と芸能の集落「阿寒湖アイヌコタン」。芸術的な木彫作品が並ぶ民芸品店とアイヌ料理を味わえる飲食店などが軒を連ね、アイヌ文化を支えている。「Anytime,Ainutime!」は自然を敬い、阿寒湖で生きてきたアイヌ民族の案内で自然散策、ものづくりを楽しむガイドツアーである。

Lake Akan, surrounded by the primitive forests of Akan-Mashu National Park, is one of the most beautiful lakes in Eastern Hokkaido. There are several hot spring inns lined up along the shore to welcome many tourists. In this hot spring town, there's a village called "Ainu Kotan" where Japan's indigenous people, the Ainu people, hand down their traditional crafts and performing arts. The village is lined with folk craft shops and restaurants, showcasing Ainu culture.
"Anytime, Ainutime!" is a guided tour where you can enjoy nature walks and crafts guided by the Ainu people living around Lake Akan with respect for the nature.

SL冬の湿原号は、釧路本線を含む釧路-標茶間(約50km)を約1時間半かけて走行している北海道で唯一の蒸気機関車。冬期間限定で運行し、今では冬の風物詩として地元の人々や観光客にも愛される。全席指定の観光列車である。釧路湿原国立公園の中を釧路川に沿って運行し、車窓から遠く阿寒の山々を望みながら群れになって走るエゾシカ、特別天然記念物のタンチョウの姿が見られることも。SLの目玉といえば、暖がとれる「ダルマストーブ」。2号車、3号車、4号車に設置されており、ストーブの上では社内で販売されているスルメを焼いて、同じく車内販売されている。
釧路の地酒「福司」とともに地元の味を楽しむこともできる。
SL Fuyu no Shitsugen Train is the only steam locomotive in Hokkaido, and it travels between Kushiro and Shibecha (approx. 50 km /31 ml), including on the Senmo Main Line, in about 1.5 hours. it’s a tourist train with reserved seats that only operates during the winter season and has been loved by both locals and tourists as a winter attraction. The train travels through Kushiro-shitugen National Park along the Kushiro River, with the Akan Mountains in the distance visible from the window. You may also be able to see herds of Ezo deer running around as well red-crowned cranes, a special natural monument of japan. One of the attraction of this steam locomotive is the potbelly stove installed in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th cars. Passengers grill dried squid on the stove and enjoy the local sake, “Fukutsukasa” with it.
冬になると餌を求め、人里に舞い降りるタンチョウ。アイヌ語でサルルンカムイと呼ばれ、神聖なものとされていた。翼を広げると2メートルを優に超える日本で一番大きくて美しい鳥である。一時は絶滅したと考えられるほど数が減っていたが、地元の人たちの保護活動によりよみがえった。現在、日本のタンチョウは多くが北海道東部に住んでおり、ここでは多い時で300羽を超える野生のタンチョウが羽を休める姿をみることができる。
その優雅な舞姿に寒さも忘れる。
As winter sets in, red-crowned cranes come down from the skies, drawn to villages in search of sustenance. Called Sarurun Kamuy in the Ainu language, they were regarded as sacred. With wings spanning well over two meters, they are Japan’s largest and most beautiful birds. Their numbers had declined to the point of presumed extinction, but thanks to local conservation efforts, they have been brought back to life. Today, most of Japan’s red-crowned cranes reside in Eastern Hokkaido, where—at peak times—you can witness over 300 wild cranes resting their wings. In the elegance of their dance, even the chill of winter fades away.
港町である根室市。頭上からカモメの鳴き声が響き、磯の香りを感じる風が、ひがし北海道をたっぷりと感じさせ、心が浮き立つ。さらに旅を盛り上げてくれるのが新鮮な魚介の数々。丸々とした根室産サンマの塩焼きはぜひ注文してみたいところ。日本中の食通が集まる花咲ガニも大人気。新鮮な魚介料理をつまみながら、地酒「北の勝」をちびりも贅沢このうえない。
また、「春国岱・風蓮湖」は、周囲を湿原、森林、砂丘に囲まれ変化に富む自然環境が広がり、国内で観察される野鳥のうち半数以上を観察することができ、タンチョウ、クマゲラ、オジロワシが繁殖するなど、国内有数の野鳥の楽園として知られている。
In the port city of Nemuro, the sounds of seagulls echoing overhead and the ocean-scented breeze willgive you a taste of Eastern Hokkaido. The variety of fresh seafood will further enliven your trip. Be sure to try the meaty salt-grilled saury here. Extremely popular Hanasaki Crab also attracts foodies from all over Japan. Sipping on the local sake “Kita no Katsu” with fresh seafood is the ultimate luxury.
Nemuro is also full of rich nature. Shunkunitai and Lake Furen are surrounded by wetlands, forests, and sand dunes, creating a diverse natural enviroment. More than half species of thewild bird in Japan can be observed here, and it is known as a wild bird sanctuary, with cranes, black-crowned woodpeckers, and white-tailed eagles breeding here.
北海道開拓時代の農耕馬がソリを曳く、世界でたったひとつの「ばんえい競馬」。その「ばんえい競馬」で活躍した、ばん馬ムサシコマが曳く馬車ツアー「馬車BAR」。地元素材のクラフトビールやこだわりのおつまみをお供に、夜の帯広市の街並みを馬車から眺める非日常体験が楽しめる。また1月中旬から3月中旬の間は馬車BARは休止し、別会場で広い雪原を走る「馬そり」を体験できる。

The world’s only “Banei Horse Racing” in which farm horses from the Hokkaido pioneering era pull sleds. “Basha Bar” is a tour of a carriage pulled by musashikoma, a banba horse that ysed to be in the “Banei Horse Racing.” You can experience an extraordinary time watching the night cityscape of Obihiro from a horse-drawn carriage with locally-made craft beer and carefully selected snacks. The service will not be operated between mid-January and mid-March, but instead visitors can experience a horse-drawn sleigh ride across the vast snowy fields at a different venue.

氷点下に凍てつく十勝川温泉にて開催される冬の夜の一大ページェント「彩凛華®」は、十勝川温泉に毎年飛来する白鳥にちなんで開催されるお祭りだ。音と光を連動させて、幻想的な空間を演出するファンタジックショー。会場と温泉街を結ぶ「光のアリー」には幻想的な「冬桜」が設置され、人気のスポットとなっている。

Sairinka® is a huge winter night pageant held in the freezing Tokachigawa Onsen. It is named after the swans that fly to Tokachigawa Onsen every year. The fantastic show, which combines sound and light to create a magical atmosphere, is impressive. The Alley of Light connecting the venue to the hot spring town is decorated with fantastic winter cherry blossoms, making it a popular spot for tourists.

完全に結氷した冬の然別湖に氷と雪だけでつくられる1～3月の間しか訪れることができない幻の村、「しかりべつ湖コタン」。細部までこだわったイグルーは芸術とも言えるほど立派で、氷の彫刻を見ているだけでも癒される。コタン内のアイスバーや氷上露天風呂は夜になるとライトアップされ、幻想的な世界に吸い込まれること間違いなし。 開催期間：1月下旬～3月下旬 ※今年の開催期間については、公式サイトにて要確認。
Shikaribetsuko Kotan is a temporary village created only from ice and snow on the completely frozen Lake Shikaribetsu, which you can visit only from January to March. The igloos and ice sculptures are magnificent works of art with great attention to detail. There are bars and open-air ice baths in the village illuminated at night, taking you into a fantastical world. 十勝ワインは1963年に日本で初めての自治体経営ワイナリーとして誕生。国内外で高く評価され、「ワイン城」には多くの観光客が訪れる。地下熟成室ではワインが静かに眠るフレンチオーク樽やオールドビンテージの数々。専門スタッフによる十勝ワインの歴史やワインの製造方法の説明のほか、本格的なテイスティングも楽しめる。（有料ワイナリーツアーは要事前予約）
十勝まきばの家はコテージ、レストラン、キャンプサイト、サウナ、ワイナリーなど様々な施設が点在する複合リゾート施設。本物のワイン醸造用大樽を再利用したバレルサウナは、サウナストーンに十勝石（とかちいし）を使用。ロウリュするとほんのりワインの香りが漂う。

Tokachi Wine was founded in 1963 as Japan's first municipally-run winery. The wines are highly regarded both at home and abroad, and many tourists visit the "Wine Castle." The underground aging room houses French oak barrels where wine rests peacefully, as well as a selection of old vintages. Not only can you listen to explanations from expert staff about the history of Tokachi wine and how it is made, but you can also enjoy a full-scale tasting. (Paid winery tours require advance reservations.) Tokachi Makiba no Ie is a complex resort facility dotted with various facilities such as cottages, restaurants, campsites, saunas, and wineries. The barrel sauna is made from a real wine brewing barrel and uses Tokachi stone for the sauna stones. When you do the loyly, you can smell a faint aroma of wine in the air. (3 people for each wine barrel saunas (3 barrels), limited to 9 groups per day for day use)

遠軽町には、220万年前の火山活動によって生成された黒曜石が大量に埋蔵されており、旧石器時代に黒曜石で作られた石器が町内で出土し、国宝に指定されている。

In the summer you can enjoy activities such as zip lining, tree trekking and summer slopes, and in the winter you can enjoy skiing.
A large amount of obsidian, formed by volcanic activity 2.2 million years ago, is buried in Engaru. Paleolithic stone tools made from obsidian were excavated within the town and have been designated as national treasures.
The black soft serve ice cream "Geo Soft" is inspired by the obsidian and contains black sesame seeds, giving it a gentle sweetness. This exquisite desert, can be purchased only here, is a delight to look at and a delight to eat.

冬の浜辺に打ち上げられた流氷の上を走行し、世界遺産知床連山を眺めながら楽しめる「流氷ファットバイク」や、流氷が浮かぶ大迫力のオホーツク海をカヤックで漕ぎ出し、大きな流氷を真近に体験できる「流氷カヤック」。深雪の森の中、大自然を感じながら、スノーシューを履いて氷瀑と流氷を目指す「スノーシュー体験」。そして、結氷した冬の網走湖の醍醐味といえる、「ワカサギ釣り」は観光客から地元民まで楽しめる。

北海道最大のワカサギ漁獲量を誇る結氷した網走湖での「ワカサギ釣り」は、観光客から地元民まで楽しめる冬の風物詩。
釣りをするための道具一式込みのレンタルセットがあり、完全防寒さえして行けばすぐに釣りを楽しむことができ、釣ったワカサギはその場で天ぷらにして食べられる。
1月中旬には、網走湖ワカサギ釣り選手権大会が2日間に渡り開催される。
Lake Abashiri boasts the largest catch of wakasagi (Japanese smelt) in Hokkaido. Smelt fishing on frozen Lake Abashiri is a beloved winter tradition enjoyed by both locals and tourists.
A full rental set with all the essential fishing equipment is available, allowing you to start fishing immediately—as long as you're properly dressed for the cold. You can even have your freshly caught smelt prepared as tempura and eat it right on the spot.
In mid-January, the Lake Abashiri Smelt Fishing Championship is held over two days.
＜オホーツク流氷館＞
夏でも本物の流氷にふれられる「流氷体験室」や、360度カメラで撮影された「流氷海中ライブ」の迫力ある映像などで、神秘的な流氷の世界とオホーツクの大自然を体験できる。
屋上の天都山展望台からは、知床連山や網走湖など、360°パノラマの雄大な景観を四季を通じて楽しむことができる。
＜JR流氷物語号＞
JR釧網本線の「JR流氷物語号」は、流氷が到来するオホーツク海沿い網走駅から知床連山を望む知床斜里駅間を疾走する冬季限定の大人気観光列車（運行：1日2往復）。車内では地元観光ボランティアが心を込めて、車窓案内や限定グッズの販売を行っている。

The “JR Ryuhyo Monogatari Train (Drift Ice Story Train)” on the JR Senmō Line is a popular winter-only sightseeing train that runs along the Sea of Okhotsk, starting from Abashiri Station—located on the coast where drift ice arrives—and traveling to Shiretoko-Shari Station with views of the Shiretoko mountain range. (2 round-trip services per day)On board, local tourism volunteers warmly provide commentary on the passing scenery and offer exclusive souvenirs for sale.

You can experience the mystical world of drift ice and the grandeur of Okhotsk’s natural environment through features like the Drift Ice Experience Room, where you can touch real drift ice even in summer, and the powerful 360-degree footage of the Drift Ice Underwater Live. From the rooftop of the Mt. Tento Observatory, you can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the majestic natural scenery—including the Shiretoko mountain range and Lake Abashiri—which transforms beautifully with each season.

国後島に向かって突き出た冬の野付半島は、片方の海は遠浅の海が凍りついて白い大地と化し、 もう片方の海には流氷が迫り、日本の風景とはとても思えない世界が広がる。
360°《真白い地平線のように見える実は真白い水平線》なので芥川賞作家桜木柴乃さんの短編小説にちなんで《氷平線》と呼んでいる。
『日本のウユニ塩湖』とも呼ばれ死ぬまでに行ってみたい風景のひとつである。無限の白の世界に。
SNSではトリック写真スポットとして人気である。
The Notsuke Peninsula juts out towards Kunashiri Island. The shallow sea on one side gets frozen over and turns into a white plain in winter. Drift ice fills the other side of the sea, creating a world that looks nothing like any other landscapes in Japan.
One of Japan's famous novelists, Shino Sakuragi, published a novel called "Ice Horizon" in which she wrote, "It looks like a 360-degree pure white horizon, but it's actually a pure ice horizon," which is how it got the name.
It's also known as "Japan's Uyuni Salt Flats" and is one of the places that you should put in your bucket list. Step into the infinite world of white.

『流氷の上を歩いてみたい!』 そんな私たちの夢を叶えてくれたのが流氷ウォーク©。本当は氷の海に落ちたら危険なので流氷の上に絶対に乗ってはいけないが、安心してください!ドライスーツを着るので氷の原を地元ガイド案内で思う存分歩き回り、時に氷から氷が離れていたら飛び移ったり、落ちても大丈夫。また氷の海が出ていたら静かに浸かってもらって大丈夫。白い地平線の上で、ところどころに見える青い海とのコントラストのなかでこころゆくまで氷の人になってもらいたい。
"I wish I could walk on drift ice!" Drift Ice Walk© made that dream come true for us. It's actually quite dangerous to step on drift ice as you might fall into the frozen sea, but don't worry! Enjoy walking around the ice fields with a local guide. You will be wearing a dry suit so you can jump from ice to ice and even fall into the sea. It's okay to soak yourself in the icy ocean. The contrast of the white horizon and the blue sea is breathtaking. Play around on drift ice to your heart's content.
キタキツネとエゾタヌキがのびのびと生活している日本で唯一の動物園。うたた寝や毛づくろい、食事やケンカをする姿など、愛嬌たっぷりの姿を見ることができる。冬は寒い季節ならではのモフモフの毛並みで、さらにかわいらしさがアップ！癒されたい人は必見！ 北きつね牧場のすぐそばには、世界初とされる「四季の水槽」がある「山の水族館」。夏は活発に動き回る魚たちを、冬は水面が凍った下で魚たちがどのように暮らしているのかを見ることが出来る「四季の水槽」は、北海道の四季の移り変わりを再現した自然に近い展示になってある。他にも、日本初の「滝つぼを見上げる水槽」など、見せ方に工夫を凝らした展示が目白押し！
It's the only farm in Japan where red foxes and Hokkaido raccoon dogs live freely. You can see their adorable behaviors such as napping, grooming, eating, and even fighting. Their fur gets fluffy in winter, making them even cuter! It's a must-visit for those who want to ease your daily fatigue!
Right next to Kitakitsune Farm is Yama no Aquarium, which is home to the world's first four-season fish tank. You can see the fish moving around actively in summer, and you can see how the fish live under the frozen water surface in winter. This four-season fish tank is a naturalistic exhibit that recreates the changing seasons of Hokkaido. There are also many other ingeniously designed exhibits such as Japan's first "waterfall basin tank"!
